Hayward Gallery Preview

We had another exclusive invite to another gallery  this time the Hayward Gallery in SouthBank London.  Its been refurbished for the past 2 years, it is also their 50th anniversary and we got a sneak peak at their pyramid roof as well as the Andreas Gursky Exhibition, which is running now until April.

Now having delved deep into my feelings and photography I have the uttmost respect for these artists their vision and their creations...some I will never understand and some images and items tend to blow me away. If you  have a chance visit the gallery its a fabulous space as well as displaying the art works so beautifully.

im becoming a reflections addict - the space of the gallery is vast and the combinations of materials used show off the art work superbly  without feeling claustraphobic - its a beautiful sense of space

The brutalist stairway, there are a few floors and there are lifts available and its  wheelchair/buggy friendly, the staff always friendly and the luxury to browse at your leisure

You can see the superb artworks framed nicely in the room and the natural light from the roof superb setting of the display elegantly  - the exhibits are huge and take up most of the walls there are many smaller pieces dotted around the gallery each offsetting each other nicely, make sure you go round the corners and visit each floor.
